Overview
Our cohorts provide avenues for disciples to go deeper in needed areas while being aligned with other church-wide strategies.
In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not slaves to excessive drinking. They are to teach what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands and to love their children, to be self-controlled, pure, workers at home, kind, and in submission to their husbands, so that God’s Word will not be slandered (Titus 2:3-5).
Within Titus 2, we discover an incredible foundation for the focus of Christian women:
- Intentional Discipleship – women should be teaching those around them
- Self-Control – women should fight against everyday temptations and dangerous emotions
- Healthy Families – women can help make nurturing spiritual environments
- Kingdom Mentoring – women must prioritize raising godly children and/or disciples
